Dr. Larry Snyder
Pastor
Pastor Larry is thankful to be shepherding the wonderful family at Freedom Christian Church since 2022. He has been serving the Lord in pastoral ministry since 1999 by both starting and leading churches in Southwest Florida and Central Pennsylvania. He was born and raised in Lancaster, PA where he was also saved in Christ as a young teenager. A graduate of Penn State University, he eventually earned a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and a Doctorate of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. ​
His great passions for the church include seeing people set free in Christ and walking in His word and with love one toward another. Pastor Larry and his lovely wife, Mindy, have one adult son, Ben, and a daughter, Annie.
He authored a book in 2021 expressing his heart of encouragement to church planters, small church pastors and the local church. The book is entitled "No Ordinary Work".​
Outside of church you can catch him reading, hunting, fishing, reading, watching college football, exercising, traveling, and reading. ​His favorite life verse: "For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2

George Kargleder
Elder
George and his wife, Barb, have been members of Freedom Christian since 2017. George began serving as Elder in 2018. George has a great love for God's word, helping to direct small group ministry in addition to helping to guide the spiritual direction of FCC. George also teaches men's Sunday school and a small group in his home.
David Schatz
Elder
David and his wife, Barbie, have called Freedom home since 2016. David began serving as Elder in 2025. David is key in serving the church in technology and building and grounds as well as helping to guide the church in spiritual matters. David and Barbie both love serving the Spanish church plant as well as leading puppet ministry.
Mary Carver
Admin Assistant
Mary and her husband, Brad, have been part of Freedom since 2019. Mary came on board as an administrative assistant in 2023. Mary can be reached at the church at info@fccsarasota.org.
